Purchase & Sale

We are always interested in purchasing high quality early American clocks. We purchase individual clocks or entire collections and will travel.

This Site consists of two pages of clocks for sale, Wall/Tallcase Clocks and Shelf Clocks, with both updated periodically with new offerings. Each clock on the site is shown with a detailed description and full condition report.

Our special interests include the following:
  • Weight driven banjo clocks/patent timepieces
  • Early New England shelf clocks (Willard and Others)
  • New Hampshire mirror clocks
  • Early brass shelf clocks (Salem Bridge, Joseph Ives and Others)
  • New York State clocks (Asa Munger)
  • New Jersey, New England and Pennsylvania tallcase clocks
  • Large Victorian regulators (E. Howard)
Authentication and Condition Reports

Auction Representation – There is nothing more important when looking to purchase antique clocks than to ensure authenticity and understand the full condition of the piece. Photos today are very helpful but there is no replacement for an in-person review of the clock. This service is primarily used for pieces offered for sale in public auctions. Our service offers a partnership with you in which we fully represent your interests and provide detailed condition reports and consultation regarding reasonable value prior to the sale. For any individual clock, we will only represent one client so there are never any conflicts of interest. Our sole focus will be on the clocks you are interested in and the information we obtain during preview is only shared with you. This is a very discreet service to ensure you have all information regarding the clocks so decisions as to whether to pursue and how much to consider paying can be done with the utmost confidence. Our services include bidding on your behalf and delivery.

Consultation Work

  • Insurance and legal purposes (Estates, Equitable distributions, Litigation)
  • General appraisals (All appraisals consist of: Description, Condition, History, Provenance, Comparables and Current Value to include Fair Market and Retail Replacement)
