Antique Clocks

Father and Son Antiques has been in business for over 25 years and specializes in buying, selling, and appraising early antique American clocks. We also offer a full array of related consulting services. We carry a variety of clocks from the 18th and 19th Centuries, including Wall, Shelf and Tallcase clocks. Our inventory has a focus on early banjo clocks or patent timepieces, New Hampshire mirror clocks, early brass shelf clocks, large Victorian regulators and tallcase clocks made in New Jersey, New York, New England and Pennsylvania.

We concentrate and specialize in pieces that are of high quality in form, condition and rarity. We seek pieces that retain all or the vast majority of their original components and surfaces. These strict parameters limit the amount of inventory we will carry at any one point in time as early clocks that meet such condition criteria are very difficult to find. Clients looking for that same quality and exceptional timepieces will be well matched with us.

We purchase individual clocks or entire collections and will travel. When buying collections, clearly many pieces will have honest replacements, repairs and restorations done over the years. We have several relationships in the antiques business community that allow us to market and sell restored clocks, even though they may not be shown on our website. So please do not hesitate to contact us regarding large collections. We understand, greatly appreciate and value all inquiries and all customers.

Our business has become primarily internet-based over time, as we service clients not only throughout the United States but globally as well. We are experts in packing every type of antique clock and can accommodate freighting to all geographies. We are physically located in Northern New Jersey and open by appointment. We offer free delivery within most of the Northeast United States.

We welcome you to visit our website often. We work hard to find new inventory at all times and from all sources. We maintain a number of very rare sold items to best demonstrate our areas of interest. Please feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail via the many links throughout this website. We look forward to hearing from you.
